Anger Management

New Hope's Anger Management Program is for those with uncontrolled anger who are perpetrators of stranger or non-intimate violence. This program is not intended to be a substitute for the Batterer's Intervention Program. The program provides techniques for managing anger directed at strangers, acquaintances, co-workers and friends. It is a psycho-educational program that is five hours in length.  The anger management program is open to both men and women.

New Hope offers three options for Anger Management

 

Option #1 -- 5 Week Program

Who's eligible?

• Everyone

 

When?

• Thursdays @ 6:00pm-7:00pm

 

Where?

• At our office located at:

• 2031 E DELLVIEW DR.

• Tallahassee, FL 32303

​

Cost?

• $10.00 per session (There are 5 sessions) or $50.00 total. Payable by cash or money order only on the day of the class. 

 

Simply show up any Thursday at 5:45PM.  There is no need to call in advance.

Option #2 One-Day Anger Management Workshop

​

Who's eligible?

• Individuals coming voluntarily and individuals on State Probation or county probation in any county with the exception of Leon County. This option is NOT available for LEON COUNTY Probationers

 

When?

• This course is held on the third Saturday of the month from 12:00PM to 5:00PM. (with the exception of holiday weekends. It is then held on the 2nd Saturday of the month)

Cost?

• The fee for this class is $50.00. Payable by cash or money order only on the day of the class.

Option #3 -- Individualized Anger Management Program

 

Who's eligible?

• Everyone except Leon County Probationers. This option is NOT available for LEON COUNTY Probationers

 

When?

• By appointment Only

 

Where?

• Tallahassee, FL 32303

Cost?

• $40.00 per session payable by cash or money order only on the day of the class. (Usually a six week program but can be tailored to your individual needs).
